BACKGROUND STUDY

DEFINITION OF NATURE
Natural environment encompasses all living matter and non-living matter that is naturally in the earth . In the purest sense , it is an environment without human activity . His opponent for the word " natural " is " built environment " .
For most people , there are pitfalls to the term " natural " because most of the natural environment, human influence at one time or another , either directly or indirectly . To overcome this problem , the influence of man consented without causing any landscape excluded from the status of "natural " . Often a , the meaning of this term depends on the context more than the specified definitions . Many natural environment is the result of the interaction between nature and humans. Due to this reason , the term " ecosystem " was used to describe the environment that contains natural , including the human . Based on this , the problem of the environment is human or social problems . There are a number of people thought that the separation of " environment " of the " human " is very dangerous . This is a general understanding that has been the basis of environmentalism , which is the movement of political, social and philosophical and supporting a wide variety of actions and policies to cover any remaining natural environment , or restoring and expanding the role of nature in this environment . Although the arid land increasingly rare , wild nature (eg , forests do not run , not worked meadows , wildlife and wildflowers ) can be found in many places the first human occupation .
Goals are usually expressed by astronomers environments including :
· A reduction of man-made pollution and cleaning with the goal of zero pollution in the future;
· Reduction in fuel consumption is not renewable and alternative development consisting of plants, material low carbon or renewable energy sources ;
· Conservation and utilization of depleting resources that may remain , such as water , soil and air ;
· Protection of representative ecosystems , unique or original ;
· Preservation and development of endangered species or ecosystems from extinction ;
· The establishment of nature reserves and biosphere under various types of protection , and
· In most generally , the protection of biodiversity and ecosystems needed by all human beings and other life forms on this planet .
Recently , there is a concern that so deeply about climate change caused by emissions antroprogenik gasrumah crops, especially carbon dioxide , and its interaction with human use and nature . Efforts have been focused on the reduction of greenhouse gases that cause climate change (ie , through " Climate Change Convention " and " Kyoto Protocol " ) and the creation of adaptation strategies to assist species, ecosystems , people, countries and regions to adapt to the change - climate change .
